Convocatoria a postulaciones de slots ISM para SfN 2026

Les compartimos a continuación las instrucciones recibidas el día de hoy para postularse a los slots de registro como miembro para el Congreso de la SfN 2026:

We are thrilled to announce the call for applications for the International Society Member (ISM) abstract slots, an exclusive opportunity for you to submit an abstract and register for Neuroscience 2026, Society for Neuroscience’s annual meeting at the SfN member rate.

About the ISM slots

The International Society Member (ISM) abstract slots, provided by the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) and administered by the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), offer international opportunities for submitting abstracts for Neuroscience 2026  and registering at the SfN member rate.

Interested participants will receive a unique code from IBRO on a first-come, first-served basis that they will subsequently use when submitting their abstracts.

Following abstract submission, individuals with ISM slot codes are recorded into SfN’s registration system and may then receive the benefit of registering at the meeting starting from 21 July 2026 at an SfN member rate.

The call for the ISM slot applications for Neuroscience 2026 opens until 10 June 2026.

IBRO will assign ISM slots on a rolling basis every week during this application period, which will allow ISM slot recipients to submit their abstracts until 10 June 2026 (5:00 PM EDT).

  • Master’s and PhD students as well as postdoctoral fellows from the Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America (including the Caribbean countries) regions are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to individuals in Category I, II, and III countries as defined by the World Bank.
