Neural and genetic basis of decision-making
The lab of Carolina Rezaval at Birmingham University, UK (www.rezavallab.org) is looking for a postdoc.
We are interested in understanding how the brain makes decisions at the level of genes molecules, cells and neuronal circuits. We are looking for motivated candidates with experience and/or interest in neuroscience, behaviour, calcium imaging, genetics and Drosophila to join our group. The successful applicant will pursue a project with the goal of understanding how the brain makes decisions when faced with conflicting options. The techniques employed will include genetics, molecular biology, optogenetics, calcium imaging, and novel behavioural paradigms.
